Resources on 1 Peter

If you're interesting in learning more about this great book that we're studying, I really recommend Scot McKnight's book on it. It does a great job of explaining what the text means, as well as what the implications are for our lives today.

Or, if you prefer free, check out his blog for scattered thoughts, a number of which are devoted to 1 Peter.

If you're curious, Scot McKnight is a professor at North Park University and has a Ph.D. in New Testament studies from the University of Nottingham. Nothing on his blog about whether he owns green tights.

Career group blog

Hi all,

A couple weeks ago we talked about having a group website. We'll, I'm not smart enough to put together a complete website, but I have been able to figure out how to put together a blog. I know, I know, six year old's can make websites, but can they reach the top shelf of the fridge? See, we all have our own talents.

This blog will be a place to put up pictures from our times together, dialogue about life and faith, share resources, have a reference for events, and other fun stuff.

That is, if I remember that it exists...
